No Fuss Protein Creation with our Alternative to E.Coli

In the drive for a better alternative to e.coli in the creation of recombinant proteins, Bioneer A/S has developed the more effective P170 system

While e.coli is a widely used medium for the production of recombinant DNA and proteins, it has its drawbacks. The researchers at Bioneer A/S have developed an alternative to e.coli which eliminates any of the disadvantages found when using these versatile microbes in the manipulation of DNA. This alternative is the P170 system which uses l.lactis instead. While usually found in cheese production, our scientists have discovered that these valuable organisms are also perfect for the creation of recombinant proteins. If you wish to use our P170 system as an alternative to e.coli, then we will first undertake a feasibility study to determine whether or not your desired protein can be manufactured in this way. Once we know that the process will yield the desired results, we will then conduct several optimisation tests so that our system will create the most protein in the shortest amount of time. By adjusting the parameters in this way, we are able to offer you the best chance to create all recombinant protein exactly as you require it. Our staff members are on hand to talk to you about our P170 system via phone, fax, or email if you wish to find out more information or perhaps request our services.
